Dr. Aaron Kosins

The Rhinoplasty Center - Dr. Aaron KosinsDr. Kosins prides himself with being on the cutting edge of Plastic Surgery as an innovator and rhinoplasty specialist. A few of Dr. Kosins’ major contributions to the field of rhinoplasty include becoming the world expert on treatment of The Plunging Tip – a nose that plunges and gets wider on smiling. He also has written and lectured extensively on the anatomy and treatment on the nasal bridge and recently in 2014 gave 9 presentations including the treatment of the asymmetric nose in Bergamo, Italy at the International Open Rhinoplasty Course. In 2015, Newport Beach rhinoplasty specialist Dr. Kosins along with Dr. Daniel published their work on Piezoelectric Surgery in Rhinoplasty, which allows nontraumatic sculpting of the nose without needing to “break the nose.” In 2016, Dr. Kosins will be traveling to Las Vegas, New York, Paris, and Italy to present his work on the use of ultrasound in Rhinoplasty as well as treatment of the thick skin envelope in nasal surgery.

Dr. Aaron Kosins joined Dr. Daniel in practice after several years of working together to focus his practice on rhinoplasty in Newport Beach. The Rhinoplasty Center was a dream of his focus on bringing together the expertise and passion of 2 rhinoplasty surgeons to deliver outstanding surgical results that could not be found anywhere else. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he studied Business Administration while completing his Pre-Med qualifications. He followed with a dual Medical Degree (M.D.) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and Paul Merage School of Business, respectively. He completed his final training at the University of California, Irvine where he was accepted to the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery program. At the time, only 23 positions were available in the United States for this specialized form of training that focused on Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. After his training, he stayed on as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UC Irvine.

Dr. Kosins has been involved in the development of technology in the basic sciences, and has presented and published his works with world-renowned innovators in multiple fields of Plastic Surgery including rhinoplasty. He is a reviewer for the rhinoplasty section of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and is also a candidate and/or active member of the Rhinoplasty Society, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a rhinoplasty specialist in Newport Beach.
